2-4 Oatmeal

We eat this every morning. It never seems to get old. Honey and fresh fruit on top make this breakfast worth waking up for
We use the 2-4 rule, meaning; 2 cups of heaping oatmeal to 4 cups of water.
Boil water and add the oatmeal. Turn off heat and cover. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Dish into bowl. I pour vanilla soymilk on top with fruit and ground up flax seed-oh and of course honey.

Wow! What a great meal for your 26th Birthday (and everyday it sounds like!) Thanks soooo much for sharing your delicious recipes with us. Your tasty/usually healthy recipes are truly what the Word of Wisdom was talking about. Not fast food garbage. I would really appreciate your yummy recipe for cookies (from the previous post of Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches)..but you are SUPER busy and any recipes are appreciated greatly by my kiddos! Happy Birthday again-YOU LOOK AMAZING FOR 26! Lisa

Happy birthday! You don't know me but I read your blog sometimes and I like it. This might seem like a dumb question... but what kind of oatmeal do you use?? Mine never tastes very good.
